We're recruiting for an ambitious Branch Manager & Sales Estimator to join a well-established and growing removals company in East London. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with removals industry experience who wants to play a pivotal role in developing a new removals site from the ground up. You'll have the autonomy to shape the office, build a strong local presence, and establish relationships with key contacts such as estate agents.
About the Role:
This hybrid role combines sales and branch management, making it ideal for a proactive and driven individual who thrives in a varied role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting surveys and sales visits to secure new business.
- Building relationships with local estate agents and businesses to generate leads.
- Recruiting, developing, and managing a local removals team with back-office support.
- Managing day-to-day operations, sales, and staff performance.
- Working flexibly between sales and management duties (approx. 50/50 split).
What We're Looking For:
- A minimum of 1 year of removals industry experience - essential.
- A valid UK driving licence - essential.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
- A natural ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Knowledge of East London and surrounding areas is advantageous.
