We’re seeking a Commercial Director with operational expertise in contract catering and a proven track record in sales and business development. Note: Must have access to own transport (insured for business use).

Relish School Food are a Fresh Food company specialising in the education market (Primary, Secondary and SEN schools). We are a hard-working, honest and reliable bunch of talented craft professionals that love delivering great food and service, backed by a super smart team of techies that have built and maintain our kitchen management and meal pre-order support software - Relish-OPS.

The role will work closely with the Managing Director, Business Development Manager, and the Operations Team who will offer an abundance of guidance, support and necessary training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Business Development function, including tender writing & sign-off with Directors.
  • Prepare and manage contracts, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Drive marketing strategy: social media, conferences, exhibitions, and brand promotion.
  • Lead the strategy for in-house support, training and developing the team to respond to market trends.
  • Analyse the competitive Contract Catering market to inform strategy & business growth.
  • Collaborate with Directors to shape customer offers & deliver exceptional client engagement.
