Summary: Working alongside the Head Chef, you will support delivering high-quality, creative dishes across our event menus, ensuring consistency, presentation excellence and team development.
Responsibilities
- Assist in menu development and seasonal dish creation.
- Oversee preparation, plating and cooking during service with high standards.
- Manage junior chefs, ensuring training, consistency and efficiency.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, organisation and cleanliness.
- Support stock management and cost control.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in events or large scale catering.
- Creative culinary skills and excellent palate.
- Leadership skills, with ability to manage teams in hectic event environments.
- A clean driving licence is essential.
- Strong working knowledge of health & safety and food hygiene legislation.
