Our client is the world’s leading manufacturer of innovative flatbed laminating equipment. They have thousands of satisfied customers around the world using its equipment, which is proven to provide quality output and a high level of reliability.

They require an Assembly Engineer to join the assembly team.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Mechanical assembly in accordance with Company procedure
  • Electrical assembly in accordance with Company procedure
  • Machine testing in accordance with Company procedure
  • Ensure that all documentation relating to machine testing is completed and submitted for filing
  • Ensure that any component modification needed to be undertaken, that has not been previously experienced, is undertaken with the approval from Engineering
  • Assembly of machinery with components from specific picked “kit”
  • Return of all unused parts from kits supplied to Stores
  • Assist with BOM amendment by completion of form
  • Inspect components / sub-assemblies before assembly
  • Report to Assembly Team Leader
  • Undergo additional training as instructed by immediate superior
  • Assist with general maintenance of the factory
  • Assist with packing machines, ensuring that the machines are in a suitable condition to pack
  • Ensure that the workplace is kept safe and tidy at all times

A successful candidate will ideally have experience in Mechanical and Electrical Control Systems Assembly.
