As the Supply Planning Manager at RWC you will be responsible for developing and implementing supply planning strategies that align with the business objectives to optimise service, manufacturing costs and inventory.

You will lead and develop our supply planning team to deliver service, cost and cash KPIs.

  • Responsible for OTIF (On Tim, In Full) into the finished product WH.

Deliver the result by following a robust Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle, using strong analytical, root causing skills and delivering plans and improvements with discipline, rigor and follow up.

  • Responsible for day-to-day operations of supply planning team
  • Develop and execute supply planning strategies to ensure industry leading service levels , maintaining adequate inventory levels while minimising manufacturing costs.
  • Lead a team of supply planning professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Collaborate with demand forecasting teams to understand customer demand patterns and translate them into actionable supply plans.
  • Monitor production schedules and capacity constraints to optimise production planning and scheduling.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
  • Implement best practices for supply planning processes and systems, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with production, logistics, and sales teams to align supply plans with overall business goals.
  • Anticipate and mitigate supply chain risks, such as disruptions in supply or changes in demand.
  • Prepare and present supply planning reports and recommendations to senior management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to continually improve supply planning practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferable. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Significant experience in supply planning, including proven experience in a leadership role with responsibility for leading teams and delivering operational results.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory management, and production planning.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management abilities.
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency in supply planning software and ERP systems, preferably including SAP, or similar platforms.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • CPIM or equivalent certifications are a plus.
