The Section Leader will oversee daily operations within a designated section of the manufacturing process, ensuring that safety protocols, production targets and quality standards are consistently met. This role requires strong management, operational efficiency and commitment to continuous improvement to drive performance and meet business objectives.

Position Responsibilities

  • Health and Safety
    • Promote a culture of safety by ensuring adherence to all health and safety policies.
    • Conduct risk assessment and safety audits regularly, addressing hazards proactively.
  • Operational Management
    • Manage and coordinate activities to meet production schedules.
    • Allocate tasks and resources effectively to maximize productivity and efficiency.
    • Monitor production processes, identifying and resolving operational issues promptly.
    • Manage, motivate and develop a team.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback and coaching to support colleague development.
    • Ensure effective communication across shifts and departments.
  • Quality and Compliance
    • Ensure products meet quality standards through adherence to SOPs, quality checks and corrective actions.
    • Collaborate with the quality team to address non-conformities and improve processes.
    • Maintain compliance with health and safety and environmental regulations.
