The Opportunity

As Territory Business Development Executive, youll become the face of the business across your region, managing customer relationships while identifying opportunities to grow sales and profitability.

Working with independent retailers and foodservice customers, youll ensure excellent product availability, maximise merchandising standards, introduce promotional activity and develop new business opportunities that strengthen your territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build long-term relationships with existing customers
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities throughout your territory
  • Increase sales, profitability and market share
  • Deliver excellent merchandising standards and maximise product visibility
  • Introduce new product launches and promotional campaigns
  • Advise customers on product range, stock levels and ordering patterns
  • Analyse sales performance and identify growth opportunities
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends
  • Ensure excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly
  • Manage your territory as if it were your own business

Were Looking For Someone Who Has

  • A full clean driving licence
  • Experience in Field Sales, Territory Sales, FMCG Sales, Business Development, Merchandising, Retail Sales, Van Sales or Customer Account Management
  • Strong commercial awareness and a passion for growing sales
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • Confidence identifying and winning new business opportunities
  • A proactive, organised and self-motivated approach
  • Experience working with handheld technology or sales reporting systems would be advantageous
