Responsibilities
- Provide remote engineering support to field-based engineers, including incident triage, remote resolution, firmware upgrades, and patching.
- Conduct fault finding and repairs across a variety of PC/network and analogue security systems, utilizing high-end software packages.
- Handle PPM and associated repairs on CCTV, Lenel, IDS, Traka, and other PC-based digital recorder systems; manage fibre optic transmission, LAN/WAN networks, and radio telemetry fault resolution.
- Liaise with field engineers as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to business activities.
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge through internal and external training.
- Adhere to business-specific application processes such as order submission, stock control, timesheet submission, and job closing.
Competencies
- NVQ Level 3 in Electronic Security or equivalent experience (4+ years).
- Knowledge of access control, CCTV, intercom, and intruder systems.
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems.
- Understanding of digital electronics principles and electrical systems.
- Experience with Lenel OnGuard.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP and network fundamentals, including Unified Front End (UFE).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to obtain client DV level clearance.

- Proven record of delivering excellent customer service and managing time and workload efficiently.
- All candidates will be screened to BS7858 standards to meet Reliance High-Tech's vetting requirements.
