Your Role
Responsible for the assisting with the installation of small works projects for our key accounts primarily located in the south of the country.
To learn how to plan, schedule, predict, and manage all the technical tasks of their assigned project.
To assure accuracy of handover and system paperwork, sufficient resources, equipment and quality of installation from start to finish.
To assist in aspects of Project delivery along with the Project Delivery team where necessary as well as assisting the wider small works team across the UK.
To assist, when required, with service and maintenance calls when workload demands.
Responsibilities
- Learn to install small works projects to a high standard and in line with customers’ needs and expectations.
- Assist in the delivery of new installation opportunities from within Small Works and the Service department.
- Collaborate with the Small Works delivery team and wider service team.
- Through accompanying the installation engineer and appropriate training courses become a key part of the small works team.
- Learn to Manage the Health & Safety and mitigate risk for their projects.
This will eventually lead to ensuring there is a Safe System or Work in place for the installation team, customers employees and members of the public.
- You will be trained to actively identify and target new opportunities with existing customers.

- The ability to install and commission within the electronic security services markets.
- The ability to persuade, influence and manage complex technical projects from the design stage through to installation with the Project Delivery Manager.
- The ability to communicate in a professional manner with all stakeholders and customers.
- The ability to plan and organise and manage your time effectively.
- PC literacy – Power Point, Outlook, Excel, Word.
- An understanding of risk assessment and broader security issues. IOSH Managing Safely is desirable. Training will be provided.
