Reliance is recruiting for a Bid Coordinator to strengthen its ability to deliver high‑quality, competitive and compliant submissions. The role owns and coordinates the end‑to‑end bid process, manages bid tools such as Loopio, and ensures accurate, current information is available to the team.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the end‑to‑end bid process, ensuring timely, compliant submissions that align with client requirements.
  • Serve as system owner for the bid management platform, maintaining accurate, version‑controlled content.
  • Plan, schedule and coordinate all bid activities: kick‑off meetings, progress reviews, approvals and final submission.
  • Liaise with Sales, Marketing, Design, Finance, Legal, Project Management, Service and Health & Safety to secure timely inputs.
  • Maintain and improve the central bid content library, embedding feedback and updating case studies and company information.
  • Provide quality assurance across all submissions, checking alignment with evaluation criteria, governance processes and brand standards.
  • Support creation of non‑technical content and coordinate technical inputs for a consistent narrative.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks or bottlenecks and drive resolution to keep bids on track.
  • Coordinate post‑bid reviews, capturing lessons learned and consolidating data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Promote best practice in bid management and optimise workflows to reduce cost and improve efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience in bid management or a similar structured process role.
  • Understanding of the end‑to‑end bid process and ability to manage multiple concurrent submissions.
  • Experience managing and maintaining bid libraries/content management systems (e.g. Loopio).
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills – able to plan, prioritise and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools (SharePoint, Teams).
  • Understanding of compliance and governance requirements within a bid process.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development; APMP Foundation/Practitioner desirable.
