Reliable Medicare Ltd is a leading retail and wholesale supplier of aesthetic products in the UK and worldwide, with an annual turnover exceeding £20 million. With branches in London, France, and the Netherlands, and headquarters in Birmingham, our reputation is built on quality, reliability, and trust.

We are now in an exciting growth phase. Alongside our established beauty and aesthetics business, we have launched our sister brand KYM, specialising in pre-owned luxury goods. To support this expansion, we are seeking a highly experienced Buyer / Procurement Specialist to strengthen our sourcing and supply chain capabilities.

The Role

This role is dedicated to sourcing and purchasing across both professional beauty/aesthetic products and second-hand luxury items. The ideal candidate will bring experience from large companies in procurement or buying, with an established network of manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors.

You will be responsible for identifying reliable sources, negotiating the best prices, and securing high-quality products for our business. This is not a private-label development role, but rather a strategic buyer position, focused on ensuring the company has access to the best supply channels and maintains strong relationships with top-tier suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source beauty, aesthetics, and second-hand luxury fashion products from reliable manufacturers and distributors.
  • Leverage existing industry contacts and networks to secure competitive deals.
  • Negotiate supplier agreements, pricing, and terms to maximise company profitability.
  • Compare market offers, analyse supply options, and ensure best-value purchasing.
  • Work closely with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure smooth procurement and delivery.
  • Monitor supplier performance, reliability, and compliance.
  • Stay updated on market trends, supplier landscapes, and competitor sourcing strategies.
  • Support the company’s growth by bringing in new sourcing opportunities and maintaining long-term supplier partnerships.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Procurement, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Buyer or Procurement Specialist in large companies, ideally within beauty, health, wellness, or luxury fashion industries at least 3 years.
  • Strong network of suppliers, manufacturers, or distributors (beauty/aesthetics and/or luxury goods).
  • Demonstrated ability to secure the best prices and reliable sources for products.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and contract management skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to evaluate suppliers and offers.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver results under pressure.
  • Bonus: Experience working with international suppliers and handling cross-border procurement.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary (based on skills and experience).
  • Performance-based bonus (evaluated every 6 months in June & December).
  • £800 uniform allowance per year.
  • 40-hour work week: Monday–Friday, 08:30 – 17:30 (1-hour lunch break).
  • Professional, structured working environment.

Please Note:

  • Formal business attire required.
  • Personal phones may only be used during lunch breaks (no snacking during working hours).
