The Role
- Manage an existing portfolio of business in the (mainly) European Grocery channel.
- Grow export sales significantly within the next three to five years; the account base has huge potential.
- Sell into European retailers via various European distributors.
- Deal with retailers such as Carrefour, Migros, Auchan, Mercadona, Albert Heijn, Jumbo.
- Work with distributors such as Atlante (an Italian distributor).
- Engage in NPD / Innovation and collaborate closely with the NPD team.
- Export territories are yet to be decided but will likely include France, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg (Benelux).
The Person
- Export sales experience is essential, ideally to Europe; candidates with exposure to any international territories will be considered.
- Understanding of international trading terms.
- Exposure to both distributor and retail channels is ideal, but candidates with exposure to one channel will be considered.
- Some experience of or understanding of NPD is a bonus but not essential.
- Category exposure in FMCG (Chilled, ambient, or frozen).
- Exposure to international retailers or distributors or similar is a bonus.
- Based commutable to the office in London.
Remuneration
To £55,000 Basic, Company Car, Bonus + Benefits.
