An opportunity to work on our BAM Nuttall/Keir JV project in Plymouth, spanning over the next 5 years.
PAYE basis: £340 - £400 Per Day Depending On Experience/qualifications
Paid Holidays: 30 days per year (including bank holidays)
Must Have:
- Academic Qualifications - Civil Engineering related Qualification (HNC, BSc, MSc, BEng, MEng)
- SMSTS
- CSCS – White PQP/AQP or Black Managers
- May be working towards Chartership/Incorporation with IStructE, ICE or other appropriate professional body.
This role is site based - Monday to Friday 45 hours per week 07:30am - 17:00pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out works and maintaining dimensional control within specified tolerances
- Managing as-built drawings, quality records, and drawing registers
- Supporting inspection, testing, and recording of workmanship and materials
- Providing technical support and resolving site queries
- Monitoring progress against time, quality, and design requirements
- Preparing site sketches and recording instructions
Experience Required:
- Reinforced concrete works including rebar detailing, sequencing, formwork & falsework
- Temporary Works experience (FRC), including TWD briefs (TWC desirable)
- Short-term planning experience (6‑Week Look Ahead)
- Constructability reviews and planning for heavy FRC works
- Experience working in secure or regulated environments preferred
