Quality Engineer (Plymouth) – Fulltime PAYE basis £300 - £350 Per Day Depending On Experience/qualifications

Paid Holidays: 30 days per year (including bank holidays)

Must Have

  • Academic Qualifications - Civil Engineering, Quality, Construction related Qualification (HNC, BSc, MSc, BEng, MEng)
  • CSCS - White PQP/AQP

This role is site based - Monday to Friday 45 hours per week 07:30am - 17:00pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the Quality Management System is implemented and maintained at all levels
  • Act as the primary quality communication channel, driving resolution of quality issues
  • Plan, undertake, and close out internal audits in line with the Audit Schedule
  • Prepare, review, and manage Inspection & Test Plans (including subcontractor ITPs)
  • Support delivery teams with progressive ITP sign‑off, attending regular client quality meetings
  • Manage material approvals, inspections, and certification tracking
  • Review Lifetime Quality Records and support timely handover documentation
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and site training on Quality requirements and systems
  • Manage Non‑Conformances, reviewing trends and reporting to senior management
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and proactive quality engagement
