Engineering Surveyor (Plymouth) – Fulltime

An opportunity to work on our MOD project in Plymouth, delivering major redevelopment works over the coming years.

PAYE basis.

Competitive Rate Depending On Experience/qualifications

Paid Holidays: 30 days per year (including bank holidays).

  • Must Have
  • Degree, Diploma or relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Surveying or Construction
  • CSCS Card
  • 3-5 years' experience in a surveying role within civil engineering
  • Experience using Total Stations, GPS/GNSS and Laser Scanners
  • Experience using Auto CAD Civil 3D, Leica Infinity, Leica Cyclone and Leica 3DR
  • Understanding of QC1 procedures and quality documentation
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Experience on major infrastructure projects desirable
  • Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance
  • Candidates must hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years

This role is site based - Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain survey control networks
  • Carry out assurance and as-built surveys
  • Produce laser scan models and survey reports
  • Support engineering teams with setting out
  • Develop machine control models
  • Maintain survey records and QA documentation Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures
  • Support successful delivery of MOD infrastructure works
