Banksman (Plymouth) – Fulltime

  • PAYE basis
  • Paid Holidays: 30 days per year (including bank holidays)
  • Must Have
  • CPCS Plant and Vehicle Marshaller A73
  • Safety Critical Medical
  • Previous experience working as a Banksman/Vehicle Marshall on construction or infrastructure projects
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures and safe vehicle movements
  • Ability to communicate clearly with drivers, plant operators and site teams
  • Reliable and proactive approach to work
  • Ability to work safely in a live construction environment
  • Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance
  • Candidates must hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years
  • This role is site based - Monday to Friday
  • 45 hours per week 07:30am - 17:00pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely marshal and direct plant, vehicles and deliveries around site
  • Ensure vehicle movements are carried out safely and efficiently
  • Maintain safe segregation between vehicles, plant and pedestrians
  • Communicate clearly with drivers and plant operators
  • Assist with site traffic management and logistics
  • Monitor vehicle access and movement around designated work areas
  • Report any safety concerns or hazards to site management
  • Follow all project Health & Safety procedures and site rules
  • Support the successful delivery of major MOD infrastructure works
