Site Welder Supervisor – (Curzon St, Birmingham B4 7XE) – Fulltime
A chance to work on the largest Infrastructure project in the UK. Site Welder required for a long-term project in the Birmingham area, with demonstrated expertise in welding and fabrication of steel bridge structures.
PAYE basis On Offer:
- Rate of £32.21 per hour
- Paid Holidays: 31 days per year (including bank holidays)
- Lodge/Accommodation rate of £50.13 this is only paid if you meet the requirements which is to be 50+ Miles from site. (This will be checked using the shortest distance Via AA Route planner. Relevant Documentation must be provided i.e. Proof of Address and Tenancy Agreement, and Booking Receipts)

Overtime When Available:
- Weekdays and Nights – Time and a Third Pay
- Weekends - Time and a Half Pay
Candidates must have:
- Previous experience in a Supervisory Role
- Responsible for overseeing the team’s Welding activities.
- Operating and promoting safe working on site.
- Implementing company requirements and legal regulations.
- MIG Welding experience
- Experience with Flux Core and MMA/Stick Welding
- Experience with working with steel exceeding 50mm in thickness especially in various positions.
- Marine or Bridge Structure experience would be preferred
- Proficient in FCAW (136/138) and MMA (111) welding of mild steel.
- Skilled in the following welding positions with evidence of recent coding: preferably 6G; if not, 3G, 4G, 3F, and 4F will be considered
- Ability to set up and perform air gouging (site testing required).
- SSSTS Certificate
- CSCS Card preferred
