Site Welder required for a long-term project in the Birmingham area, with demonstrated expertise in welding and fabrication of steel bridge structures.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

  • CSCS Required
  • Flux Core and MMA experience essential
  • Proficient in FCAW (136/138) and MMA (111) welding of mild steel.
  • Skilled in the following welding positions with evidence of recent coding: preferably 6G; if not, 3G, 4G, 3F, and 4F will be considered
  • Comfortable working with steel exceeding 50mm in thickness especially in the overhead and vertical positions.
  • Ability to set up and perform air gouging (site testing required).

Pay Rate and Benefits:

  • Pay rate: £30.85 per hour (PAYE basis)
  • Monday to Friday 10-hour shifts
  • Time and a third after 10 hours
  • Time and a half on Weekends
  • Lodge/Digs if you live over 50 miles away from site you can be entitled to £50.13 per day every day you work.
