Overview
Section Engineer (Geotechnical) β Plymouth β Full time.
An opportunity to work on a MOD project in Plymouth, delivering major redevelopment works over the coming years.
This role is site based β Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Manage setting out activities
- Maintain dimensional control
- Produce as-built records
- Manage quality systems
- Support technical delivery
- Manage engineering teams
- Maintain drawing registers
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance
- Deliver geotechnical works safely and efficiently
Qualifications
- HNC, HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction
- CSCS White PQP/AQP
- SMSTS
- Experience in drilling, grouting, anchor installation, inspection and testing
- Experience managing engineering teams
- Good CAD, BIM and IT skills
- Familiar with Quality Management Systems and RAMS
- Commercial awareness
- TWC desirable
- Nuclear experience advantageous
- Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance
- Candidates must hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years
