Candidates must have
- Full understanding of all aspects and responsibilities of a Ganger
- Good level of experience of Groundworks, Concrete Finishing, Plant Op Tickets
- Experience in the site preparation for, bases, foundations and trenches. Drainage, kerbing and slabbing.
- The experience of supervising a small team of operatives
- Expected to lead by example in a working supervisory position
- Carry out any tasks assigned by overseeing operatives/Foreman with regards to safety working to method
- CSCS Gold supervisor card
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- Preferred
- CSCS Gold Supervisors card having achieved or working towards an NVQ for a particular skill
- SMSTS - site managers safety training scheme (5 days)
- IPAF 3a 3b ticket
- EUSR ticket
- cat and jenny ticket
- safe digging
- Manual handling
- First aid at work (4 day).
- Driving license
