Must Have:
- CSCS Green Labourer Card
- Good knowledge of construction materials, PPE and tools
- Good IT skills with the ability to maintain accurate records
- Previous experience working as a Store Person on construction or infrastructure projects
- Experience managing stock control, deliveries and issuing materials
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and proactive approach to work
- Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance
- Candidates must hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years
This role is site based - Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect and book in deliveries of materials, PPE and tools
- Issue materials, tools and equipment to site personnel
- Maintain accurate stock records using IT systems
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management
- Carry out regular stock checks and inventory control
- Keep the stores area clean, organised and secure
- Ensure all tools and equipment are inspected and recorded correctly
- Liaise with suppliers and site teams to ensure materials are available when required
- Support the successful delivery of major MOD infrastructure works
