PAYE basis: Competitive rate depending on experience/qualifications

Must Have:
- Professionally qualified Manager with at least 8 years post-professional qualification experience or 12 years' relevant industry experience
- Academic qualification in Civil Engineering, Quality, Construction or related discipline (HNC, BSc, MSc, BEng or MEng)
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification
- IOSH Managing Safely
- CSCS White PQP/AQP Card
- CSCS Managers Card
- Extensive knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ISO standards
- Proven leadership and people management experience
- Strong strategic planning, communication and decision-making skills
- Experience managing audits, compliance and continuous improvement programmes
- Ability to influence senior management, clients and project stakeholders
- Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance (further SC clearance will also be required)
- Candidates must hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years
This role is site based - Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, 07:30am - 17:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS)
- Set quality objectives and ensure alignment with project and business goals
- Lead internal and external audits and certification processes
- Manage the Quality Team including recruitment, mentoring and performance management
- Investigate and resolve escalated quality issues using structured problem-solving techniques
- Ensure compliance with client specifications, regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Produce quality performance reports for senior management and clients
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the project
- Manage quality risks and implement corrective and preventative actions
- Promote a culture of quality, compliance and right-first-time delivery across the project
- Support the successful delivery of major MOD infrastructure works
