Groundworker (Plymouth) – Fulltime An opportunity to work on our MOD project in Plymouth, delivering major redevelopment works over the coming years.

Have

  • Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card
  • Level 2 NVQ Construction & Civil Engineering Operations (Groundworks) or Level 2 NVQ in Groundworks
  • Must have logistics/plant operative experience
  • Blue CPCS Card desirable
  • Safety Critical Medical preferred
  • Previous experience working on major construction or infrastructure projects
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable and proactive approach to work
  • Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance
  • Candidates must hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years This role is site based - Monday to Friday 45 hours per week 07:30am - 17:00pm

Responsibilities

  • Carry out general groundworks duties across the project
  • Assist with excavation, drainage, concrete and other groundwork activities
  • Support logistics and plant operations as required
  • Work safely around plant, machinery and other site activities
  • Read and work from drawings and site instructions
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of work areas
  • Work closely with supervisors, engineers and other site teams
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised working area
  • Comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental procedures
  • Support the successful delivery of major MOD infrastructure works
