ELECTRO-MECHANICAL PLANT EQUIPMENT SUPERVISOR – FULLTIME Reliable Contractors are recruiting for an experienced Electro-Mechanical Plant Equipment Supervisor to oversee the installation, maintenance and operation of plant equipment across construction sites throughout the UK. This is an opportunity for an experienced supervisor with strong knowledge of GPS and HFR systems, fault-finding, problem-solving, IT and maintenance planning. PAYE basis Paid Holidays: 30 days per year (including bank holidays) Must Have: * HND/HNC or equivalent qualification in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Automation or a related field * Minimum 5 years' experience in electro-mechanical plant equipment maintenance * Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience * Construction industry experience * Strong knowledge of GPS technology and HFR systems * Experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems * Advanced IT skills, including maintenance management software, data analysis and reporting * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills * Excellent planning and organisational skills * Strong communication and leadership skills * Full UK Driving Licence * Willingness to travel to multiple sites across the UK Key Responsibilities: * Lead and manage a team of electro-mechanical technicians, providing guidance, training and support * Plan, schedule and oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of plant equipment * Coordinate with project managers, engineers and other site stakeholders * Ensure the correct integration, configuration and operation of GPS and HFR systems * Monitor equipment performance and reliability and implement preventative maintenance * Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex equipment issues * Develop and maintain maintenance schedules and work plans * Coordinate with suppliers and manage parts and equipment availability * Monitor inventory and order required materials * Use IT systems to monitor, track and report on equipment performance and maintenance * Provide technical support and training to the team * Ensure plant equipment complies with UK health and safety requirements * Carry out safety inspections and audits * Maintain accurate maintenance, repair and equipment records * Prepare reports for management and update procedures and manuals Desirable: Experience working across multiple construction sites Experience with maintenance management systems Experience supporting the integration of plant equipment with IT systems Strong understanding of equipment reliability and preventative maintenance Some Benefits: Pension Safe working environment Secure regular income Lodge/Digs can be available So, if you want to work for a main contractor that cares about their tradesmen, then this is your opportunity to apply and join the project now!
