Groundworks Ganger β (OX17 1TP) β Fulltime A chance to work on the largest Infrastructure project in the UK, spanning over the next 8-10 years Long term work available for the right candidates with the correct cards and tickets and want a stable job and income for the foreseeable future. PAYE basis (Must Drive) On Offer: * Rate of Β£19.85 per hour – first 39 hours * Rate of Β£29.77 per hour – final 11 hours * Rate of Β£22.03 per hour – average across 50 hours * * Paid Holidays: 30 days per year (including bank holidays) * Lodge/Accommodation rate of Β£50.65 this is only paid if you meet the requirements which is to be 50+ Miles from site. (This will be checked using the shortest distance Via AA Route planner. Relevant Documentation must be provided i.e. Proof of Address and Tenancy Agreement, and Booking Receipts) * Pension * Training and upskilling paid for * Safe working environment * Free PPE * Secure regular income Overtime When Available: * Saturday β First 4 hoursβ time & a half β after 4 hours double time * Sunday β Double time Candidates must have: * Full understanding of all aspects and responsibilities of a Drainage/Pipelayer operavtive * The experience of supervising a small team of operatives * Expected to lead by example in a working supervisory position * Carry out any tasks assigned by overseeing operatives/Foreman with regards to safety working to method * You will need to able to work, use, and set up Trench Boxes,Benching to all manhole boxes, Drag Boxes, Manhole Boxes,Trench sheets & framing ,Use pipe lasers * Lay concrete, clay & plastic pipes β all sizes – depths varying from 1 meter deep to 5 meterβs deep * Ensuring pipes are laid to correct levels on correct bed/surround β tested & backfilled to proper specification * CSCS Blue Skilled Worker card * SSSTS * Manual handling * Driving Licence Preferred * CSCS Gold card – Occupational Work Supervisor * SMSTS * Confined Space ticket * CAT & Genny ticket So, if you want to work for a main contractor that cares about their tradespeople, then this is your opportunity to apply and join the project now!
