Engineering Surveyor (Plymouth) - Fulltime
An opportunity to work on our MOD project in Plymouth, delivering major redevelopment works over the coming years.
- PAYE basis
- Competitive rate depending on experience/qualifications
- Paid Holidays: 30 days per year (including bank holidays)
Must Have
- Degree, Diploma or relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Surveying or Construction
- CSCS Card
- 3-5 years' experience in a surveying role within civil engineering
- Experience using Total Stations, GPS/GNSS and Laser Scanners
- Experience using Auto CAD Civil 3D, Leica Infinity, Leica Cyclone and Leica 3DR
- Understanding of QC1 procedures and quality documentation
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Experience on major infrastructure projects desirable
- Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance
- Candidates must hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years
This role is site based - Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain survey control networks
- Carry out assurance and as-built surveys
- Produce laser scan models and survey reports
- Support engineering teams with setting out
- Develop machine control models
- Maintain survey records and QA documentation
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures
- Support successful delivery of MOD infrastructure works
