We are seeking a qualified Non-medical Prescriber (NMP/ISP) with expertise in mental health to enhance our clinical team.
This role requires a dynamic and compassionate individual with a strong background as mental health nurse or allied health professional and the ability to adapt to the evolving needs of patients who require medical cannabis treatments.
The successful candidate will directly interact with patients, providing both consultations and care using our own patient management platform, thereby ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.
Your role will consist of a variety of shifts - this will include evenings and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient consultations through our Releaf platform, ensuring high standards of care and privacy.
- Prescribe medication directly, when applicable, within the scope of professional licensing.
- Manage and respond to patient inquiries regarding treatment plans and product use.
- Utilise technology efficiently to maintain patient records and manage prescriptions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve service delivery and patient outcomes.
- Stay updated with the latest in medical cannabis research and applications to provide informed care.
Requirements
- Registered Mental Health Nurse or appropriately qualified Allied Health Professional in the UK.
- Experience with digital health platforms and proficient typing skills.
- Ability to prescribe medications directly and independently
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Committed to continual learning and professional development in the field of medical cannabis.
