Our mission is to put patients back in control of their health through high-quality care, evidence-based medicine, and outstanding patient service. We are a fast-growing healthtech company made up of passionate professionals who believe healthcare communication should be clear, compassionate, and grounded in science. We have seen first-hand how alternative treatments can transform lives, and we are proud to be at the forefront of that change.
We are looking for an experienced Medical Copywriter to join our growing team. This is a remote-first role, with occasional in-person meetings. You will play a key role in shaping Releaf's long-form medical content, translating complex clinical information into clear, accurate, and patient-friendly copy. From in-depth medical articles and whitepapers to patient stories and research-led content, your work will help educate, empower, and build trust with patients and healthcare audiences. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys deep research, precise writing, and working within regulated healthcare environments. You will work closely with clinical, marketing, and communications teams, but should be comfortable managing your own workload and deadlines. Ideally, you will have 2+ years' experience writing medical or healthcare content and be confident working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and edit long-form medical content across a range of topics, ensuring clinical accuracy and clarity
- Produce educational blog articles grounded in current research and best practice
- Develop patient stories that balance empathy, authenticity, and compliance
- Create whitepapers, guides, and research-led content to support patient education and brand authority
- Translate complex medical information into accessible, patient-centred language
- Work closely with clinicians to ensure content is accurate, compliant, and evidence-based
- Review and update existing content to reflect new research, guidelines, or regulatory changes
- Maintain consistency with Releaf's tone of voice across all written materials
What we are looking for
- Proven experience writing medical or healthcare content (agency, in-house, or editorial)
- Exceptional long-form writing and editing skills
- Strong research ability, with confidence interpreting medical studies and clinical data
- Ability to adapt tone for different audiences, from patients to professionals
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects
- A genuine interest in healthcare, patient education, and evidence-based medicine
- Experience working remotely and independently
- The ability to shape simple, effective web copy for core site pages is advantageous
Why Releaf?
- Be part of a fast-growing healthtech company making a real difference in patients' lives
- Work on meaningful, educational content that empowers patients and supports better health outcomes
- Join a supportive, ambitious team where your work has visible impact
- Opportunities to learn, grow, and shape how we communicate complex medical information
Employee benefits include:
