The Opportunity:

As a Finance Associate at Relay, you’ll:

  • Financial control & reporting: Assist with the monthly close - pulling actuals, reconciling ledgers, and drafting management accounts commentary. Support the FC and CFO with internal and external reporting. Keep the accounts clean and audit‑ready at all times.
  • Spend management & AP: Day‑to‑day management of purchase‑to‑pay from request through to payment. First point of contact for procurement queries across the business. Manage supplier relationships and keep the AP ledger tidy.
  • Revenue & AR: Automate invoicing, maintain the debtor ledger, and chase outstanding balances. Support working capital management and liaison with our financing partner.
  • Data, analysis & automation: Produce regular finance reports and support ad hoc analysis. Spot inefficiencies and help fix them.
  • Audit & compliance: Support our first statutory audit - prep, documentation, and fielding queries. Help embed a controls first culture as we formalise processes for scale.
