The Opportunity
As an Associate Chief of Staff at Relay, you'll:
- Own and continuously improve the CEO’s operating rhythm, from leadership meetings to all-hands and company communications, ensuring focus stays on the highest-impact priorities.
- Craft communication and materials that transform complexity into clarity, enabling effective leadership decisions, company-wide alignment, and compelling external storytelling.
- Serve as a first line of response on emerging opportunities or challenges requiring CEO attention, shaping recommendations before escalation.
- Deliver structured analysis and research that directly inform CEO and leadership decisions.
- Drive alignment and accountability on company OKRs and key priorities, ensuring progress is visible, measured, and acted upon.
- Turn company-level strategies into clear roadmaps, milestones, and ownership, then drive follow-through to ensure results are delivered.
- Scope and coordinate high-priority cross-functional projects, acting as the connective tissue that keeps teams aligned and outcomes delivered.
- Contribute to org design and workforce planning, from role mapping to team reshaping, ensuring Relay scales with clarity and efficiency.
- Help design and scale people processes such as performance reviews, goal-setting, and feedback systems that support a high-performance, feedback-driven culture.
