International Import / Export Operator Salary: £(phone number removed) - £(phone number removed) DOE We are recruiting for an exciting role with a rapidly growing and expanding international freight and distribution company based in the Midlands Key Responsibilities * Manage end-to-end import and export operations across road, ocean, and air freight * Prepare and process customs entries and documentation (UK, EU, and international) * Ensure compliance with Incoterms, HMRC regulations, and global trade laws * Coordinate shipments including groupage, full loads, and express/time-critical deliveries * Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, hauliers, and customs authorities * Monitor and track shipments, providing proactive updates to customers * Handle high-value and sensitive cargo with precision and compliance * Support customer service, finance, and sales teams where required Requirements * Minimum 2 years’ experience in freight forwarding or international logistics * Proven experience with customs clearance procedures and systems * Strong knowledge of Incoterms and import/export documentation * Excellent organisational and communication skills * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously * Confident using Microsoft Office and freight forwarding systems (training provided) * A proactive, reliable, and ambitious team player What We Offer * Competitive salary (based on experience) * Clear career progression opportunities into senior operations, account management, or leadership roles * Ongoing professional training and development * Exposure to multimodal freight operations and complex supply chains * Modern office environment with on-site facilities * Be part of a company that rewards ambition and hard work
