RGW are looking for 2 conscientious multi-skilled tradesmen to join our property maintenance team and Out of Hours Department (on a rota'd basis). The successful candidate will be required to work independently and as part of a team. Duties will include carrying out emergency repairs in residential homes, with a good knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, lock changes/forced entry, tiling, plastering, flooring, kitchen and bathroom fitting, and planned void and FRA works.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience, skill, and professionalism. The annual holiday entitlement is 28 days, including bank holidays, and a company pension scheme.
Responsibilities and Duties:- Undertake emergency response and planned repairs to residential homes in London and the South East, Sussex, and Kent.
- Achieve response times KPIs and update the clients accurately upon completion of each job using the PDA.
- Only those with experience of responsive repairs and maintenance should apply.
- The successful candidate will have the appropriate CSCS card, a full driving licence, and will be trained in asbestos awareness, PPE, manual handling, environmental awareness, and FFP3 at induction.
Hours on call covering emergency calls are 8.00 AM - 5.00 PM Monday to Friday, 5-day week, and out of hours emergency repairs on a rota basis over a 7-day period.
