Overview
Relative Connections is one of the UK\’s leading people-tracing and family-finding services. We specialise in reuniting families, reconnecting loved ones, and helping individuals find answers that can change their lives. Our success — over 92% trace rate — comes not just from our skill in locating people, but from the empathy, care, and professionalism we bring to every step of the journey.
We are now seeking a full-time Intermediary to take full ownership of all client and reconnection communication. This person will replace the previous intermediary role and become the central human link between those searching and those being found. Reporting directly to Jake (Manager, Finances & Operations), this role ensures every interaction — with clients, found relatives, and internal staff — upholds RC\’s standards of compassion, clarity, and safeguarding.
- Client Support: Onboard and guide clients through the tracing process with empathy and clarity.
- Reconnection Support: Contact found persons, explain context sensitively, and manage consent-based introductions.
- Safeguarding & Confidentiality: Apply trauma-informed practice, manage data securely, and escalate welfare concerns
- Collaboration: Work closely with the research team to ensure case information flows smoothly between departments.
