Relais & Chateau at Thornbury Castle are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our hard working and professional 5* Hotel Team. You will be working in a unique and beautifully restored Castle supporting the operation in the kitchen, creating memorable and impressive experiences for our guests.

About Us: Set on 15 acres of beautiful land, Thornbury Castle Hotel is the only Tudor Castle operating as a hotel in England. The Castle has undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment program bringing back to life the regal grandeur of its past. Located 20 minutes’ drive from Bristol, it offers 26 rooms and suites, an award-winning restaurant, bar and two unique meeting and conference spaces.

Contract: Zero hours contract £12.71 per hour. Will include evening and weekend shifts.

  • Use the industrial dishwashers to clean all crockery and chefs’ utensils.
  • Clean the Kitchen Areas following full Food Safety and COSHH guidelines.
  • Basic preparation of vegetables under the supervision of senior chefs.
  • Follow Health and Safety and Food Safety procedures.
  • Support the team and help colleagues where needed.
