Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute menus in collaboration with our senior team.
  • Manage ingredients that should be frequently available on a daily basis.
  • Follow the directions of the Head Chef and Sous Chef.
  • Adhere to all relevant health, safety and hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate with other colleagues and seniors.
  • Run either a larder, sauce, garnish or pastry section.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the kitchen team to ensure delivery of high-quality food and service.
  • Be present in the kitchen during all required services, providing support for the team.
  • Ensure you have the knowledge of product, menu and service, to the required level of excellence, continually developing and maintaining what we do.
  • Understand the importance of creating a good working environment to enable the team to meet the standards required.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, uniform and health and safety at all times.
  • Undertake any reasonable requests made of you by the company including flexibility in hours, location and responsibilities.

About you:

  • Chef; 1-year (required).
  • You have to have a flair and passion to achieve the highest of standards.
  • You have to be flexible, articulate and have a desire to progress to the next level.
  • You will be hard working, reliable, trustworthy and competent enough to work alone and have the experience and people skills to work within a team.
  • Be calm and focused in a high pressure, busy environment.
  • Flexible approach to working hours.
