The Bryntirion Inn is a welcoming country inn located in the village of Llandderfel near Bala, known for its warm hospitality, traditional atmosphere, and quality food. We pride ourselves on providing excellent service and creating a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience for our guests.

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and professional Waiter / Waitress to join our front-of-house team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the restaurant.

  • Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables when required.
  • Present menus and provide detailed information about food and drink offerings.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar.
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently and courteously.
  • Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any requests.
  • Prepare tables by setting up linens, cutlery, and glassware.
  • Clear tables and reset them for the next guests.
  • Process payments accurately using the point-of-sale system.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the dining area.
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.

Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred but not essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required, along with a friendly and professional manner with customers. The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, good attention to detail, and organisational skills are also important. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when required is necessary, as well as a positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
