Step into serenity at Gilpin Hotel & Lake House, where luxury meets nature in the heart of the Lake District. We’re seeking a passionate, professional Spa Therapist to join our dedicated team, offering bespoke treatments in a truly breath‑taking setting.
You’ll deliver exceptional treatments in our Spa Space, Jetty Space, private spa lodges and suites, each designed to offer guests a deeply personal and restorative experience in a setting that blends natural beauty with contemporary luxury. From holistic massages to advanced facials, you’ll help guests unwind, recharge, and reconnect as part of a close‑knit team that embodies authenticity, warmth, and attention to detail.
💆♀️ Your Role:
- Delivers a range of high‑end treatments including massages, facials, and body therapies with precision and care.
- Provides a warm, personalised experience for every guest.
- Supports the spa team in creating a tranquil, welcoming environment.
- Contributes to the smooth running of the spa and guest experience.
- Maintains immaculate treatment rooms and upholds hygiene standards.
- Recommends products and wellness routines tailored to individual needs.
- Stays informed on the latest wellness techniques and product innovations.
- Recognised qualifications in treatments and massage therapy (at least NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- Previous experience in luxury hospitality or spa settings.
- A calm, professional demeanour and genuine passion and care for the guest experience.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
Salary: £12.25 – £13.25 per hour, full or part time hours available
Gratuities are allocated on a points basis, depending on development tiers. Although variable, average levels are projected as being from £240 to £550 per month. Pro rated to part time hours worked.
Plus commission on any retail sales you make.
