We're growing fast, and we're hiring an experienced, driven, and commercially sharp Senior Business Development Manager to help us take things to the next level.
What You'll Be Doing
This is a pure sponsorship sales role focused on engaging technology vendors and positioning our event formats as a direct route to their enterprise buyers. You'll sell into a portfolio of:
- Residential Executive Summits (CISO, AI, Data Leaders)
- Private Executive Dinners
- Virtual Roundtables
- Bespoke "Signature" Experiences
You'll lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery, through proposal and close, working consultatively to align our formats to each sponsor's objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of sponsorship opportunities across IT, cybersecurity, data, and cloud tech vendors
- Conduct structured discovery and proposal calls over Zoom, identifying client pain points, objectives, and timelines
- Create tailored proposals based on pre-built templates and commercial formats
- Close deals ranging from £20k–£150k+ across multi-activation campaigns
- Accurately track opportunities, activity, and forecasts in Salesforce
- Support onboarding handover to client delivery teams post-sale
- Contribute to ongoing refinement of sales tools, messaging, and go-to-market strategy
You'll Be a Great Fit If You...
- Have 4–6+ years' experience in B2B sponsorship sales or event sales
- Have sold into IT, cybersecurity, data, SaaS vendors
- Understand enterprise buying cycles and how tech vendors build pipeline
- Are confident pitching to senior stakeholders (CROs, CMOs, Heads of Field/Partner/ABM)
- Are commercially aware, outcome-focused, and consultative in your approach
- Are process-driven, you use Salesforce, track activity, and prep properly
- Enjoy working autonomously within a tight-knit team
