A growing accountancy practice in Cannock is seeking a Semi Senior Accountant who has solid experience within a practice environment. This is a development-focused role offering exposure to complex accounts preparation, and increasing client responsibility within a supportive but fast-paced team. You will be given increasing responsibility as you progress, with clear support towards qualification completion and senior-level exposure.
Role Responsibilities
- Prepare statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Prepare management accounts for a varied client portfolio
- Complete VAT returns accurately and in line with compliance requirements
- Support bookkeeping and maintenance of client records
- Liaise with clients and respond to day-to-day queries
