The Tax Manager will be responsible for delivering high-quality tax compliance services across both personal and business tax:
- Managing a portfolio of over 500 personal and business tax clients, including High Net Worth Individuals.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Overseeing and reviewing the preparation of Tax Returns, CGT Returns, IHT forms, and various other private client compliance matters, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Providing expert advice on tax matters to clients, resolving any queries.
- Managing the tax department team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service delivery, together with appraisal, performance review, and managing training needs of the team.
- Providing reports and ensuring billing and recovery targets are met for the department.
- Advising clients on tax liabilities and payment obligations.
- Supporting the Making Tax Digital (MTD) process.
- Communicating tax updates and relevant changes to clients.
- Strong technical knowledge across personal and business tax.
