We are seeking an experienced Mixed Tax Senior on behalf of a highly reputable firm of Accountants in Newport, Gwent. This is a varied role working with both Personal and Corporate Tax. Known for providing clear and professional advice, they offer a relaxed and friendly working environment.

Duties:

  • Managing a mixed portfolio of clients for both personal and corporate tax compliance
  • Preparing and reviewing tax returns (including SA100s and CT600s)
  • Assisting with tax planning and advisory work, including remuneration planning, business structuring, and capital gains
  • Liaising with HMRC on client matters
  • Supporting junior staff and reviewing their work where appropriate
  • Working closely with the partners to deliver high-quality tax advice to clients

What we're looking for:

  • ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified (or qualified by experience)
  • A strong grounding in both personal and corporate tax
  • Experience within an accountancy practice environment
  • Comfortable managing your own portfolio and dealing directly with clients
  • A proactive, confident communicator with strong organisational skills
