A forward thinking firm of accountants is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Semi-Senior Accountant to join its dynamic team in near Dudley. This is an exciting opportunity for a Trainee or Junior Accountant ready to step up into a Semi-Senior role, working with a diverse and engaging portfolio of clients.
Role Responsibilities
Preparing accounts and financial statements for a range of owner-managed businesses, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
Processing client records and managing bookkeeping duties with accuracy and efficiency.
Preparing tailored management accounts.
Completing and reviewing VAT returns to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Supporting the planning and preparation of audit packs.
Responding to routine client queries and providing ongoing support.
Personal Requirements
AAT qualified or currently studying towards ACCA/ACA.
Experience in a practice environment, with some exposure to audit work.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high standards of client service.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive, team-oriented approach with the ability to work independently when needed.
Analytical mindset with sound problem-solving abilities.
High levels of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
