A dynamic and well-established accountancy firm in Coventry is seeking an experienced Audit & Accounts Senior Manager / Partner Designate to join their growing team. This newly created position has arisen to support the senior partners and help drive the firm's future development.

This is a pivotal role for a qualified and ambitious professional looking to take the next step towards partnership. You will work closely with the partners, helping to free up their time for business development by overseeing the firm's audit function and supporting the general management of the practice.

You will be the key link between the partners and the wider team, including direct oversight of an established Audit Manager, and will gradually be introduced to a growing portfolio of clients including complex consolidated accounts and IFRS work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the audit department
  • Support with assurance and overall practice operations
  • Act as the bridge between senior partners and staff
  • Lead client meetings and maintain strong client communication
  • Play a proactive role in business development and fee generation
  • Contribute to the strategic growth of the firm
  • Potential to take on the RI role (or work towards it)
