What\’s the role about?
As part of our Childrenswear Buying department, you\’ll be joining as a Trainee Buyer, supporting with admin tasks, as well as working alongside Merchandisers, Product Developers and Designers to deliver balanced and exciting ranges for all areas of the Reiss Brand.
Who you are
- Previous work experience in Buying is desirable
- Degree in Fashion Buying or similar
- Ability to work on your own initiative
- Work well in a team but can also strive in individual tasks
- Highly organized with excellent time keeping skills
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills
What you\’ll be doing
- Sample ordering, managing, tracking and logging
- Liaising with other department functions on behalf of the department as required (working closely with tech, press, studio and stores)
- Generating weekly reports for Monday trade, pulling best sellers for trade meetings
- Build and maintain close relationships with suppliers through sample requests
- Organizing lab dips/bulk approvals by using computer systems to log and then file accordingly.
- Contribute commercial ideas and views, adding value to decisions made by the team
