As our Menswear Designer, you'll be responsible for designing and delivering seasonal woven collections, taking product from initial concept through to final sign-off at buy. Working across multiple product areas, you'll play a key role in driving innovative, commercially relevant design that reflects the Reiss brand. You'll combine strong creative vision with commercial awareness, working closely with Product Development, Buying, Technical and Fabric teams to ensure collections are delivered on time, to target margin and to the highest quality standards.

Who you are

  • Previous experience in a menswear design role, ideally across woven product categories.
  • Highly creative with a strong understanding of the Reiss aesthetic and brand DNA.
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to translate trends into best-selling product.
  • Strong knowledge of fabrics, construction and garment development processes.
  • Organised with a clear understanding of the critical path and key deadlines.
  • A confident communicator and collaborator, able to work cross-functionally and present ideas effectively.

What you'll be doing

  • Designing and developing seasonal Menswear woven collections from concept through to final buy sign-off.
  • Conducting ongoing trend, competitor and market research to identify opportunities and drive innovative design.
  • Working closely with Fabric and Product Development teams to source materials that align with design vision and margin requirements.
  • Creating and completing detailed spec packs, including sketches, measurements and construction details for factory clarity.
  • Managing sampling processes, ensuring fabrics, lab dips and prototypes are developed in line with the critical path.
  • Collaborating with Technical teams on fit, quality and garment construction, attending fit sessions to ensure the desired aesthetic is achieved.
  • Supporting factory relationships, including conducting visits where required to maintain quality and development standards.
  • Presenting concepts, research boards and sketch collections to Head of Design, Product Development and Buying teams.
