We’re looking for an E-Commerce Finance Manager to take full ownership of financial performance across Reiss.com and our online partner channels, including Next Label, John Lewis, Zalando, Amazon, and Bloomingdales. Reporting into our Head of Commercial Finance, you will act as the central finance point of contact for all online trading activity, partnering closely with Next and stakeholders across the wider business. You’ll be responsible for driving commercial performance through high-quality financial insight, robust planning, and clear decision support that directly shapes growth, margin, and investment decisions across the digital business. This role will require weekly travel to Next’s head office in Leicester, with frequency subject to change as the needs of the role evolve over time.
Who you are
- A commercially minded finance professional with strong analytical capability and the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insight.
- Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), or able to demonstrate equivalent experience in a commercially focused finance environment.
- Experienced in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting, with a strong grounding in financial controls and accounting principles.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce trading dynamics and key performance metrics including traffic, conversion rates, Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and Average Order Value (AOV).
- An exceptional communicator and relationship builder, confident operating as a trusted partner and primary finance contact for senior stakeholders, including Next.
- Influential and collaborative, able to build alignment across functions and levels and drive decision-making in a fast-paced commercial environment.
- Systems-minded and continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and data quality through technology and innovation.
- Commercially curious, proactive, and solutions-focused, with the confidence to challenge constructively and improve business outcomes, while being highly organised and detail-oriented with strong ownership and accountability.
What you’ll be doing
- Taking full ownership of financial performance across Reiss.com and all online partner channels, ensuring clear visibility of trading performance, margin, and key cost drivers.
- Leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across weekly, monthly, and annual online sales performance.
- Acting as the central finance point of contact for online trading, working closely with Next to ensure alignment on priorities, performance, and reporting.
- Providing high-quality financial insight and analysis to Marketing and Commercial teams to optimise campaign effectiveness and maximise return on investment.
- Supporting and challenging the commercial proposition in partnership with internal teams and NEXT, including pricing strategy, customer proposition changes, and evaluation of financial impact with a strong focus on margin growth.
- Tracking, analysing, and reporting on e-commerce KPIs including traffic, conversion rates, CAC, and AOV, translating data into clear, actionable insight.
- Building strong cross-functional partnerships across Finance, Marketing, Commercial, and Operations to ensure joined-up decision-making and consistent financial governance, while driving improvements in systems, processes, and reporting.
- Ensuring full compliance with financial controls, reporting standards, and data protection legislation, while acting as a key driver of continuous improvement and commercial performance across the e-commerce finance function.
