What’s the role about?

We’re looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Buyer to lead the development and commercial success of our Womenswear Knitwear and Jersey categories. In this pivotal role, you’ll shape the seasonal product direction, from concept to final buy, ensuring every collection embodies the Reiss brand DNA, combining modern design, premium quality, and commercial appeal. Working collaboratively with Design, Product Development, Technical, and Merchandising teams, you’ll drive the range strategy, identify opportunities for growth, and ensure our knitwear and jersey collections remain elevated, relevant, while keeping the customer at the heart of every decision.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading the development and execution of the seasonal Knitwear and Jersey strategy, aligning with brand vision and business objectives.
  • Building and curating the range plan to create a well‑balanced, cohesive, and commercially strong collection.
  • Partnering with Design and Product Development to translate creative concepts into high‑quality, commercial products.
  • Managing product mix and pricing structure to achieve target margins and optimise profitability.
  • Overseeing fit, fabric, and trim approvals, ensuring quality and brand standards are consistently met.
  • Ensuring the critical path is maintained across all development and production stages.
  • Leading buy meetings, preparing and presenting collections to senior leadership, and driving in‑season trading strategies.
  • Collaborating with Merchandising and Marketing to align product stories, launches, and campaign moments.
  • Building strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, value, and innovation across both categories.
  • Coaching and developing junior team members, fostering creativity, accountability, and collaboration.
