As FS Administration Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of data and financial settlement reporting to downstream RGA stakeholders. You will liaise with RGA clients and stakeholders to ensure the administrative requirements of treaties are adhered to for our Longevity swap and Mass lapse reinsurance products.

The team plays a central role in overseeing and administering complex reinsurance arrangements, including longevity swaps and mass lapse products. Responsibilities include end-to-end claims reconciliation, validating the accuracy and completeness of client reporting (covering policy data, claims, and financials), and ensuring robust financial control. The team also implements new deals, establishes efficient processing frameworks to support ongoing administration, manages claims payments, and acts as a key point of contact for clients. We collaborate across functions, distribute client data to stakeholders, assess readiness and mappability of schemes transitioning from modelled to live claims, and actively participate in client calls and audit activity.

Your responsibilities cover EMEA jurisdictions, with potential work for other RGA entities or affiliates outside EMEA as resources permit.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with other team members and RGA functions (Finance Valuation, Risk, Treasury) to ensure accurate and timely administration of treaties in line with SOX requirements.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous process improvement, identifying opportunities for automation and removal of non-value adding procedures.
  • Apply the company’s administration standards and time service requirements to all business.
  • Ensure administration of all UK business adheres to RGA treaties.
  • Provide administration data for input to accounting records, valuation systems, and regulatory returns.
  • Meet reporting month-end deadlines by working with team members to process data in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide administration data to retrocession clients promptly and accurately.
  • Attend Client Audits/Assurance Reviews as required.
  • Document all administration processes and procedures.
  • Maintain a professional relationship with clients.
  • Support internal Administration audits.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Intermediate Excel proficiency: VLOOKUP, IF, SUMIF, COUNTIF, Text functions (LEFT, RIGHT, MID, TRIM), Date and Time functions, pivot tables, sorting/filtering, conditional formatting, removing duplicates.
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving; detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Experience working with large data sets.
  • Knowledge of pensions, including individual annuities, defined benefit schemes, GMP, Revaluation.
  • Previous pensions administration experience.
  • Basic VBA/Macros knowledge.
  • CII Qualifications (LF1) or equivalent work experience.
