The Role – What You’ll Be Doing

  • As an Estimator, you’ll play a key role in the pre-construction team, leading tenders from enquiry through to submission.
  • Lead Tenders – Prepare detailed and competitive submissions across refurbishment, heritage, and new build projects.
  • Commercial Ownership – Analyse subcontractor returns, build up rates, and manage full pricing documents.
  • Technical Review – Assess drawings and specifications, identifying risks and opportunities for value engineering.
  • Stakeholder Liaison – Engage with clients, consultants, and supply chain throughout the tender process.
  • Reporting – Produce clear tender reports and cost plans for internal review.
  • Process Improvement – Support development of estimating systems and cost databases.

You will also have the chance to support and mentor junior team members as the department grows.
