A respected residential developer is seeking a proactive Technical Coordinator to join their small technical team supporting a flagship high-rise residential project in Deptford. Work under the Head of Technical and Technical Manager to coordinate design, compliance, and construction information.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate technical information and deliverables across multiple disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP, façade, etc.)
- Prepare, submit, and manage Gateway 2 approvals and associated design compliance documentation
- Liaise with external design consultants, statutory bodies, and internal stakeholders to secure technical sign-offs
- Review and comment on design packages for buildability, compliance with Building Regulations, NHBC/Warranty standards, and technical quality
- Organise and manage design coordination meetings, tracking actions, decisions, and milestones
- Align technical information with procurement and construction programmes
- Identify, monitor, and mitigate technical risks throughout design and pre-construction stages
- Maintain accurate records of submissions, approvals, and design revisions

Person Specification
- Minimum 5 years' experience in technical coordination or design coordination within residential development, main contracting, or consultancy
- Proven experience on high-rise residential projects with RC frame construction
- Strong knowledge of the UK Building Safety Act and the high-rise Gateway 2 approval process
- Excellent understanding of Building Regulations, NHBC standards, and technical compliance
- Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams while maintaining attention to detail
